Yancy has 20+ years of marketing experience at venture-backed SaaS and some of the most well-known enterprise technology brands, bringing a dynamic blend of entrepreneurial creativity, innovative strategies and “roll-up-sleeves” execution . He specializes in revenue marketing, an integrated go-to-market approach to engaging buyers, building brand, aligning sales, and driving revenue.

Yancy is one of the few B2B software marketing executives with strategic and tactical ability across the full stack, making him highly adept at building brand and driving revenue Most recently, he served as CMO of Catchpoint, a VC-backed SaaS provider of performance analytics, where he grew marketing-generated revenue 4X, increased brand voice 240%, successfully spearheaded content marketing and the first user conference. Before that, he was CMO of Zags, a privately-backed provider of fintech, where he rebranded the company and built demand generation and product marketing from scratch. Earlier he was VP of Marketing for AppSense, a $140 million provider of virtualization software, where he pioneered the healthcare campaign that resulted in over $9 million in new wins, and revamped demand generation and channel marketing to consistently beat $28 million ARR quarterly pipe output. Previously, Yancy was SVP, Sales & Marketing at EducationDynamics, where he increased pipe by over 40%, drove account-based marketing wins, and secured a strategic co-marketing deal that increased new wins over 20% 

Prior to that, Yancy was CMO of Wimba, a VC-backed SaaS provider of edtech, where he achieved #1 brand voice, engineered a strategic alliance with Blackboard that exceeded new bookings forecast, tripled qualified lead and bookings run rate, and led the first global user conference, connecting 200+ attendees from 11 countries. Before Wimba, Yancy was SVP of Product and Marketing at INFONXX, where he charted their market entry in speech recognition, landing $3 million in new wins the first 6 months. Previously, Yancy spent 5-1/2 years at Oracle, most recently as Industry Marketing VP where he architected the industry strategy to acquire 3 companies valued over $600 million, directed a multi-million dollar global demand generation campaign, and contributed to the Industry Leaders global brand campaign and company repositioning as “The Information Company”. Before Oracle, Yancy led product marketing at Teradata, where he launched the first predictive (AI) analytics product for the telecom industry and originated business impact models, which earned a U.S. Patent-Pending and became the #1 sales tool.

Yancy received his MBA with highest honors from University of Dayton, and his bachelor's degree in Marketing from California State University, Northridge.
